A growing family: Theben extends the series of Meteodata 140 S KNX weather stations

Under the transparent housing of the well known Meteodata 140 S KNX weather station from Theben, there are now also two 24 V versions, as well as a “basic“ version without rain sensor.

Wooden facades, exposed concrete, brick, stone or pure white – the list of facade types and colours is almost endless. In contrast to weather stations with a white plastic housing, which usually look a bit obtrusive on the facade, all Theben Meteodata weather stations convince with a decisive advantage: Their transparent housing lets the background colour shine through, and the weather stations blend harmoniously with their surroundings.

Highlights of all Meteodata KNX weather stations at a glance:

  • The anemometer on the bottom detects wind, regardless of the wind direction, and it measures the wind speed, even in snow and ice.
  • The capacitive rain sensor* is resistant to dirt and reliably measures rainfall.
  • The configurable heating* ensures reliable measurements. Thus, misinterpretations, such as confusing morning dew with rain, is avoided, and awnings and skylights are reliably controlled.
  • Three light sensors measure the position of the sun from three directions and enable independent control of slats and blinds on three facades.
  • The automatic sun position tracking permanently adjusts the angle of blind slats, the height of roller blinds, and the position of awnings according to the actual sun position. Unpleasant blinding by the sun is avoided while making best use of the sunlight.
  • Quick mounting and start-up is ensured by the sockets and the pre-programmed universal and sun protection channels

*does not apply to Meteodata 140 basic, the version without rain sensor.
