The weather under control: LUXOR 440 weather station from Theben

(Haigerloch 1th April 2015) For the LUXOR living comfort control, Theben offers a new powerful weather station for automatic control of sun protection and more. Through the transparent housing, the background colour of the facade shines through, so the weather station harmoniously blends with its surroundings.

Adaptive: The transparent housing

Every house and every facade is different. There are endless variants of materials and colours. In contrast, there are only a few colours of weather stations: Different shades of white dominate. However, especially on wooden facades or dark walls, bright weather stations look a little strange. Theben now offers a weather station with a transparent housing, which does not only feature all the advantages of a weather station, but also looks good. In this way, the background colour of the facade shines through, and the weather station harmoniously blends with its surroundings, which is a decisive advantage.

Cloudy or clear: Precise values in all weathers

Even with ice and snow, wind measurement often can be a problem. Icy sensors or snow-covered anemometers only provide inaccurate measurement values. Theben avoids this problem, by attaching the anemometer at the bottom of the weather station. The benefits are obvious: The anemometer does not only provide reliable measurement values in ice and snow, but it detects wind, regardless of its direction, and exactly measures the wind speed. The LUXOR 440 rain sensor is resistant to dirt, and thus reliably detects rainfall. The heating inside the rain sensor prevents misinterpretations, such as confusing morning dew with rain, which ensures the reliable control of awnings and skylights.

More convenient, safer, and simple: Weather station LUXOR 440

The LUXOR 440 weather station does not only make life more comfortable, but also safer: If individually set thresholds are exceeded or fallen below, for example when a storm arises or the sunlight becomes too strong, the weather station reports it to the LUXOR switching module and ensures that roller blinds and blinds are adequately controlled. This is a big plus for safety, especially if no one is at home. The installation of the weather station is quick and easy: First, the socket with integrated plug-in terminal is mounted. Then the mains voltage is connected, and finally the LUXOR 440 weather station is simply plugged on.

With the new LUXOR 440 weather station, Theben presents a powerful weather station for wind, brightness, rain, and temperature measurement. Thanks to the transparent housing, the background colour of the facade shines through, so the weather station harmoniously blends with its surroundings. The anemometer on the bottom detects wind, even in snow and ice, and exactly measures the wind speed. The rain sensor is resistant to dirt and reliably measures rainfall. The heating inside the rain sensor prevents misinterpretations, such as confusing morning dew with rain, and thus ensures the reliable control of awnings and skylights. Light sensors detect the brightness and control slats and blinds.
