Up and down on schedule: The new digital Theben theRolla time switches for roller blinds and blinds
(Haigerloch, 1th April 2015) With theRolla S031 and theRolla P032, Theben presents two new digital time switches for automatic and reliable control of roller blinds and blinds with various switch programmes and comfortable programming.
Both digital theRolla time switches are delivered pre-programmed and offer various switch programmes for individual requirements: The 鈥淎stro evening鈥 program opens the blinds or shutters at the predefined time in the morning and closes them in the evening at sunset. The 鈥淚ndividual switching times鈥 program opens and closes the blinds according to programmable times. Furthermore, switching times for two fixed blocks can be defined (鈥淢onday to Friday鈥 and 鈥淪aturday to Sunday鈥). For each Astro switching time, one blocking time can be defined. This prevents the roller blinds or blinds from moving up or down too early, due to the Astro times. The 鈥淗oliday programme鈥 assumes the function of a presence simulation and moves the roller blinds up and down with a delay at the programmed times. A clear advantage with regards to safety.
If an automatic time switch (switching time or Astro command) is reached, the blinds or shutters can be moved to the upper or lower end position, or to a defined intermediate position. Moreover, the ventilation slots of the shutters can be opened, or the slats of the blinds can be turned.
With additional comfort programmes: theRolla P032
While theRolla S031 is exclusively suited for individual control, theRolla P032 provides the additional option of group control and advanced comfort switch programmes: The complete 鈥淎stro鈥 programme opens and closes roller blinds at the corresponding sunrise and sunset times (Astro times). Furthermore, various switching times can be defined according to blocks: 鈥淢onday to Sunday鈥 (week), 鈥淢onday to Friday鈥, 鈥淪aturday to Sunday鈥 as well as daily, with different single blocks for each weekday. Also, a second switch programme can be defined, for instance for the lunch break.
In combination with an optional light sensor, theRolla P032 can also provide sun protection and dimming functions: If defined thresholds are exceeded or fallen below, the sun protection function moves the blinds or shutters to the set intermediate position or to the brightness sensor. With the dimming function, the blinds close automatically if the set brightness value for twilight is fallen below.
Both digital theRolla time switches from Theben feature easy operation via large buttons and convenient programming with a text-based navigation menu. theRolla S031 and P032 are available from May 2015.
