Installation: Correct installation of motion detectors
During the installation of a Theben motion detector, the following points have to be considered:
- Complex lighting management for large and wide rooms
- The passive and active zones in the detection area decrease when installed at a high position, which reduces the sensitivity of the motion detector.
- Motion detectors should not be installed in the detection area of permanent triggers, such as direct sunlight, street lamps or heat sources, such as heater outlets or air conditioners, as well as trees or window curtains swaying in the wind, since these can cause faulty switching.
