Room situations in offices are changing faster today than ever before. The new PlanoSpot KNX by ThebenHTS is the first presence detector on the market with a mechanically moving detection area. This makes Plano Spot KNX the optimal presence detector for spaces where a flexible floor plan is important. But PlanoSpot can do even more.
Detection area

Movable detection area:
The mirror optics of the square detection area can be tilted mechanically by up to 12掳 to the left and right. This way, the detection area can be shifted by up to 卤 1 m in order to detect changing room layouts better. -
Reducible detection area:
Should PlanoSpot KNX even detect too much, you can easily reduce its detection area by remote control or via ETS parameters.
Light measurement

Threefold directed light measurement:
The presence detector measures artificial light and daylight at three locations in the room. The central light measurement detects the brightness directly below the detector, while the other two detect the brightness close to the window or in interior spaces. -
Constant lighting control:
Thanks to its directional constant lighting control, pleasant balanced lighting conditions always prevail in the room at maximum energy savings. PlanoSpot KNX can also maintain brightness at a constant light level, optionally even if nobody is in the room. An ideal feature for hospitals, museums, schools, etc. -
Standby feature (orientation light)
Reduced general lighting provides orientation even if no one is present. When movement is registered, PlanoSpot KNX increases brightness to 100%. After a time delay, the lighting is softly dimmed down to the level of the orientation light again.
More comfort, less energy consumption

"eco plus" feature:
The "eco plus" feature increases the control speed. In addition, the "self-learning time delay" is disabled in order to achieve maximum energy savings. -
Self-learning time delay:
Optimises the time delay based on the user's behaviour. -
Brief presence:
"Recognizes" when someone is in the room only for a short time and switches off the light before the set time delay. -
Teach-in feature:
Fast and uncomplicated teach-in of the current lux value. -
Remote controllable:
The remote control can query brightness values. -
Fast installation and commissioning:
With a mounting height of only 3 mm and a 76 mm diameter, the presence detector is quickly installed thanks to spring clamps and included cable ties for strain relief.
