KNX actuators to current monitoring
To make switching more efficient: Theben presents the new generation of MIX 2 switch actuators for KNX systems
Theben AG launches four new KNX switch actuators for the new MIX 2 series. The MIX 2 switch actuator RMG 4 I with 4 channels is extendable up to 12 channels. It has current monitoring and is designed for C-loads. The MIX 2 switch actuator RMG 8 S with 8 channels can be extended up to 24 channels. (Haigerloch, Germany 29/03/2010) Both of our new KNX switch actuators enlarges the range of products offered by Theben in the field of KNX products.

MIX 2 switch actuators C-load with 4 to 12 channels
The new 4-channel MIX 2 switch actuator has been especially designed for higher lamp loads (C-loads) and has four outputs for C-load with bistable relays. The device will also measure the current of each output to an accuracy of around 100mA. This current reading can be used for the monitoring of circuit faults and for use in Smart Metering visualisation. The 4-channel base module, which has a front mounted detachable BCU can be extended with up to two add on modules to give a maximum of 12 channels -
MIX 2 switch actuators KNX with 8 to max. 24 channels
The new 8-channel switch actuators of the MIX2-series can be extended with a maximum of two extension modules, which do not need a BCU giving up to 24 channels. The latest MIX application also allows the copying of the channel parameters.

Modular structure
With both MIX 2 switch actuators the manual set up and use of the switch actuators is possible even without the BCU. Installation can commence with the the parameterized KNX BCU module being fitted later.The new MIX 2-base modules can be combined with the existing switching, dimming, blinds, 1 - 10 V controlling, heating and binary function MIX 1 series extension devices.
