Theben AG presents two new universal dimmers: DIMAX 532 plus and DIMAX 534 plus dim LEDs and energy-saving lamps steplessly.

(Haigerloch,  12 August 2013) Theben AG presents the new Meteodata 139 KNX weather station for integration into the KNX building control system. This allows current weather forecasts to be used to minimise heating costs, heat radiation to be used more efficiently and solar protection to be controlled predictively.

(Haigerloch, 10 September 2013) Theben AG presents the new thePrema presence detector product family, which will largely replace the previous presence detector range by 2015. While the new, flowing design has a strong visual emphasis, the square 360° detection area was maintained with high quality detection. The new thePrema presence detectors provide energy-efficient, presence-dependent lighting and air-conditioning control in, among other places, offices, schools, conference rooms, storage, sports and entrance halls.

(Haigerloch, 10 September 2013) Through to the middle of 2014 Theben AG will be gradually replacing the current product range of high-quality outdoor motion detectors with the new theLuxa product family. Alongside a unified, compact and discreet design, as well as the usual high detection quality and easy installation, the revised motion detectors now offer, among other things, a teach-in function so that the initial brightness can conveniently be adjusted directly on the device itself.

(Haigerloch 20. March 2013) Theben extends its successful LUXA LED spotlight with integrated motion detector range with another powerful model. With a light output of 2000 lumen and a warm light colour of 6000 Kelvin, the new LUXA 102-180 LED 32 W turns night into day. Its four LEDs with 8 watts each correspond to around 230 watts of a standard halogen spotlight. The device matches its two predecessors visually and continues the design line. The sturdy housing is offered in black or white.

(Haigerloch,  5 February 2013) With the PlanoCentro 201 and PlanoCentro 300, Theben enhances the PlanoCentro and PlanoCentro KNX with new, three-channel presence detectors. They also allow energy-efficient HVAC control as well presence-dependent control of a third light group and are especially suitable for large offices, hotel rooms or classrooms.

(Haigerloch 2012-11-22) Theben presents five new catalogues optimised for the free Flipboard app on the iPad and other tablet devices. Customers can now easily browse through product groups and see which product is best suited for them and their application. The benefit: the representation is optimised for tablets and, unlike traditional print catalogues, the contents are always up to date and are more comprehensive.

(Haigerloch,  02. January 2013) From 1 January 2013, alongside its traditional website, Theben now also presents its customers with a mobile variant for smartphones and tablets. (Haigerloch 2012-11-21) With the new KNX universal dimmer actuators from the MIX2 series from Theben, you can control all current dimmable light elements such as LEDs, halogen lamps and energy saving lamps. Optimised dimming curves provide - according to the particular light element - harmonious, stepless dimming behaviour. Additional dimming curves can be imported via the KNX programming software ETS, thus ensuring optimal dimming behaviour in future too.

(Haigerloch 2012-11-21) The new Meteodata 140 GPS KNX weather station from Theben provides classic functions such as brightness, wind, temperature and rain measurement. The compact structure and transparent housing are both new: The background colour shows through the device and the weather station fits in perfectly with every facade.

(Haigerloch 2012-09-10) Theben presents the LUNA 134 KNX twilight switch, to which up to 3 light sensors can be attached. The 10 switching channels with individual text display can be configured via ETS as usual or via 4 push buttons on the device itself. The 4 threshold channels and 6 logic channels, which are connected to the switching channels in the ETS, are new.

(Haigerloch 2012-09-10) Theben presents a new member of the successful TR top2 time switch family: The new 8-channel KNX time switch TR 648 top2 RC KNX. Weekly, yearly and Astro program can be adjusted to individual customer requirements on the device or via OBELISK top2 software on a PC. The TR 648 top2 RC KNX gives you the choice of time synchronisation using quartz, external DCF77 or GPS antenna. There are a number of ways of programming KNX time switches: Either via onscreen text-based instructions on the device, via the KNX bus or on a PC using the intuitive OBELISK top2 software. Transfer the finished program to the time switch via OBELISK top2 memory card. The 8 channels on the digital KNX time switch are marked with a key and can be simulated, recorded and and printed on a PC. Programs can amended easily and quickly.

(Haigerloch 2012-09-10) The successful range of Theben digital time switches for wall-installation has been further improved: The new generation of TR 635 top2 and TR 636 top2 devices can, like the other Theben digital top2 time switches, be programmed on PCs via the easy to use OBELISK top2 software.

(Haigerloch 2012-09-10) The compact office Presence Detector from ThebenHTS is well-known for its square detection area, its high detection quality and its innumerable possibilities for making lighting control even better through it’s individual settings. Now Theben also offers the successful compact office Presence Detector as a DALI device with constant light control.

(Haigerloch 2012-10-05) The SPHINX 104-360/2 DIMplus presence detector from Theben provides students and teachers with optimum lighting conditions in the classroom: The first channel can be used to dim the lighting in the room via 1 to 10 V constant light control. The second channel can control a separate strip of lights or ventilation system.

(Haigerloch 2012-11-21) The RAMSES 856 top2 OT heating controller from Theben consists of a slim and elegant remote control with 2-wire OpenTherm connection and a central device for the boiler room. It is suitable for energy-saving and needs driven control of 2 heaters. 

(Haigerloch 23. August 2012) Theben AG introduces the new LED spotlight LUXA 102-140 LED with integrated motion detector. With its dimensions of 8 x 18 x 6 cm the LUXA 102-140 LED is a small and unobtrusive spotlight, however its effects are certainly striking. The light output of 8 Watts is approximately equivalent to the light output of a 100 W halogen bulb. This provides reliable lighting for gardens, terraces and courtyard entrances. With a standby consumption of 0.3 W, the LED spotlight with integrated motion detector is energy-efficient.

(Haigerloch 28/08/2012) Theben presents the new 1 module slim, digital time switches TR 608 top2 and TR 609 top2 with PC programming interface. The weekly program with a maximum of 84 memory locations can be simply programmed via the text-based onscreen user instructions or via the PC.

Today, 20 years later, the presence detector technology has become indispensable and has assued itself a permanent place in the field of energy-efficient building control. It also superiour in terms of delivering comfort, safety and reliability in modern lighting control.

The KNX UK Association members have once again chosen a Theben design as Product of the Year. They voted for the AMUN 716 KNX air quality sensor, which measures CO₂, temperature and humidity for 2009, and for 2011 they have chosen the PresenceLight 360 KNX 360° ceiling-mounted presence detector as their Product of the Year.

With the KNX OT-Box, Theben AG presents an universal interface for KNX- and OT-heating systems which can be employed as Master for the OpenTherm heating systems in combination with a KNX single room control.

Theben AG launches four new KNX switch actuators for the new MIX 2 series. The MIX 2 switch actuator RMG 4 I with 4 channels is extendable up to 12 channels. It has current monitoring and is designed for C-loads. The MIX 2 switch actuator RMG 8 S with 8 channels can be extended up to 24 channels. Theben AG presents the new SPHINX 105-300 KNX 2-channel passive infrared KNX movement detector for the control of lighting in outdoor areas. (Haigerloch, Germany 29/03/2010) The new SPHINX 105-300 KNX motion detector by Theben is universally applicable in all outdoor areas. The two channels enable the control of two seperate light groups. The vertical and horizontal adjustable sensor head allows for the ideal adjustment of the detection range of 300°. This can be individually limited by using the enclosed blanking segments.

ThebenHTS’s new compact passimo presence detector provides energy efficient lighting and security in corridors and storage areas by its rectangular detection area. (Haigerloch, 29/03/2010). ThebenHTS’s compact passimo PIR presence detector has been specifically developed for lighting control and presence monitoring. Its accurate rectangular detection area and the vertical demarcation below the presence detector prevent unintentional switching by people passing close, but not into the detection area thus saving energy.

Theben AG presents three new digital annual time switches with 1 to 4 channels of the product family TR top2. All channels can be configured as a yearly program or an astronomical program. (Haigerloch 29/03/2010) All new TR tp2 time switches can be programmed using the easy to use OBELISK top2 PC software or by using the buttons on the front of the device. Besides the basic weekly program, 14 different weekly programs with priority ratings and date periods can be programmed.

Theben AG has further developed its range of SYN and SUL time switches, with weekly and short time programs, improved mounting and cable fixing.
