The RAMSES 856 top2 OT universal heating controller: Ideal for controlling two heaters with domestic water heating function

(Haigerloch 2012-11-21) The RAMSES 856 top2 OT heating controller from Theben consists of a slim and elegant remote control with 2-wire OpenTherm connection and a central device for the boiler room. It is suitable for energy-saving and needs driven control of 2 heaters. 

The 7-channel controller makes it possible to control 2 mixer circuits with the required circulation pumps and temperature sensors. The domestic hot water circulation can be individually controlled using different temperature profiles, e.g. for regular, thermal disinfection to prevent legionella. The range of functions can be extended by connecting 2 additional OT boxes. Another feature is the large display screen, which illuminates when buttons are pressed, to clearly see the text display. The RAMSES 856 top2 OT is quickly set up thanks to the preset time and date, with 3 time programmes and 5 temperature levels for sole occupants, families and shift workers. The pre-installed programmes can be individually adjusted to meet the specific needs of the customer.

Depending on need, the controller can be operated according to outside (weather compensation) or room temperature as the controller automatically recognises which sensor is connected. If room control is not required, the controller can be attached to the central device for weather-dependent operation. The switching status for all outputs is visually displayed via LEDs. The addition of 鈥渃himney cleaner鈥 function makes it easier to maintain.
