Light, temperature, ventilation and sunshade efficiently under control: Theben鈥檚 new LUXOR 426 controller
With the new Luxor 426 Theben AG presents a comfortable and easy-to-use control, display and user panel for the central controlling and monitoring of building functions in LUXOR living comfort systems. (Haigerloch 29/03/2010) The new LUXOR 426 controller as part of the LUXOR living comfort system offers great functionality for the automatic and manual controlling of blinds, shutters, awnings, temperature, ventilation and light in buildings.
Via the user friendly panel with text-oriented user guidance and back lit display, all functions can be controlled and indicated centrally. E.g. blinds, shutters or awnings can be controlled dependent on climatic influence like rain or wind. Lighting scenes can be programmed via button or time program, and the ventilation can be controlled by a weekly program.
LUXOR 426 has an 8-channel time switch with weekly- and astro-program. These features allow for example blinds to be pulled up and down automatically at sunrise or sunset. Additionally LUXOR 426 offers easy access to a variety of functions like central operation for OFF, lighting scene ON. The presence simulation switches light ON and OFF during holidays, as if the residents were at home. If an ominous noise is heard, one pushbutton is enough to switch on the panic lighting around the house and close the shutters at the French windows.
With LUXOR 426 central control unit, power consumption can be reduced considerably. Power consumers like lights or cookers can be switched off centrally to prevent them being accidently left on. The integrated time programs in combination with the RAMSES room thermostats allow energy saving by the controlling of room temperatures in up to eight heating zones.
LUXOR 426 also impresses with its aesthetic design. The Theben Multi-functional display VARIA 826 KNX in the same design was awarded the renowned Red Dot design award in 2009.
