Precise lighting for storage areas and corridors: The new ThebenHTS compact passimo Presence Detector
ThebenHTS鈥檚 new compact passimo presence detector provides energy efficient lighting and security in corridors and storage areas by its rectangular detection area. (Haigerloch, 29/03/2010). ThebenHTS鈥檚 compact passimo PIR presence detector has been specifically developed for lighting control and presence monitoring. Its accurate rectangular detection area and the vertical demarcation below the presence detector prevent unintentional switching by people passing close, but not into the detection area thus saving energy.
The square detection range amounts to an area 15 m length and up to 5 m width at a height of 3.5 m. Permanent monitoring of for example a stockroom is possible with the 2 channel version. The compact passimo can be set in fully or semi-automatic mode: In 鈥渇ully automatic鈥 mode, the lighting switches on and of automatically according to presence and light. In 鈥渟emi automatic鈥 mode, it must be switched on manually and switches off automatically.The configuration of the parameters of the compact passimo presence detector can be set via the QuickSet Plus remote control or at the device.
