Full range: The new Theben theLuxa Performance and Standard motion detectors
theLuxa motion detector standard range already exists. Now Theben is following up with the theLuxa Performance devices and is completing the range of motion detectors for automatic and energy-efficient outdoor lighting control. All devices have the same attractive, unified design. The most important characteristics and functions compared:
Fields of application
theLuxa Standard: External areas in private properties such as entrances to family homes, long driveways, back and side doors, carports or bicycle storerooms
theLuxa Performance:
- External areas of commercial properties such as administration buildings, hotels, schools, underground car parks or warehouses.
- theLuxa P300 KNX for integration into building automation.
Detection area
- theLuxa Standard: Up to 12 m at 150掳 (theLuxa S150), 180掳 (theLuxa S180) or 16 m and 360掳 (theLuxa S360)
- theLuxa Performance: Up to 16 m at 220掳 (theLuxa P220) or 300掳 (theLuxa P300)
- All devices: Creep-under protection for areas below and slightly behind the detector
Installation
All devices:
- Wall mounting and fastening on existing 60 mm flush-mounted boxes
- Socket with large terminal area, easily legible terminal labeling
- Blind terminals for earth conductor
- Bracket for plug-in terminals
- Optional corner bracket enables installation on or in a house corner
- Optional spacer frame simplifies installation, when cables are surface-installed.
